Pour a chunky, oversized pendant in citrus shades or translucent pastels this week.

The chunky-necklace-over-a-bikini look is having a full moment for summer 2026 —
styling guides are pointing makers toward chunky resin necklaces in citrus shades, translucent pastels, or funky shapes that “scream summer, gelato, and ‘I’m fun, but also stylish.’”
That’s basically a permission slip for the most maximalist pendant on your bench. Pour something deliberately oversized this week — a fat lemon-yellow disc, a sherbet-orange dome, a translucent watermelon-pink slab — and walk us through the pigment ratios, the mold (or the cup you sacrificed), and whether the cured piece actually feels wearable or hilariously huge in the best way. Bonus if you photograph it against a swimsuit strap or a sundress so we can see the scale.

Chunky/oversized is my jam. I’ve always been partial to bold statement pieces. Here’s a citrus hued one that I made using the petri dish effect with alcohol inks. It has a cute little peridot set in its custom wire wrap bail.
